Basic solution to remove the weeds. We will power wash the gaps between the stones, then fill the gaps with new polymeric sand. We suspect that the original contractor did not add enough polymeric sand or used poor quality sand, or the sand was washed away over the years, causing dirt to accumulate, which provided a good environment for weeds to grow when the seeds landed on them.

This option includes Option A. Choose this solution only if you want to double the effectiveness by killing the roots. We will first apply glyphosate, a non-selective herbicide, then return to power wash the gaps between the stones. Finally, we will make another visit to fill the gaps with new polymeric sand.
